Looking at many inspiration pictures, deciding on the shape, finding the tiles, designing the pattern for the bottom, the sides, the steps, the edges… checking the quality and accuracy of tiles installation, seeing the pool going in, getting the copping right, designing the pattern for the tiles around the pool and seeing them being laid one by one like a giant puzzle… after months of work, here it is, finally, a pool like no other in Dubai!!!

Today I am turning 40… and it kept me awake late last night!!! Half of a lifetime going through my head… first messages this morning… my mum is telling me it’s the most beautiful age! Let’s make it the most beautiful… let’s take everything from the first half… my other half (who keeps supporting me no matter how difficult I make it for him!), kids, friends, successes, failures, achievements, mistakes, wrinkles… maybe leaving behind a little bit of the stress and anxiety, to make the second half even better… and take Hammer & Feather to the next level… together!!!
