The Caribbean Rebuild A Home Project's aim is very simple. We want to build 200 homes on the islands of Anguilla, Antigua, Barbuda, BVI, Dominica and Turks & Caicos. To do this, we need to raise $10 million. This is not enough to save these islands by any mean, but the only way to tackle such widespread destruction is with concrete goals and reasonable logistics. The other part of this mission is speed. Dry season in the Caribbean doesn't last very long, and we would like to have as much of this relief work finished before 2018's Hurricane Season. To do this, Rebuild A Home has partnered with the renowned Caribbean charity community, Living Water, as well as the construction consulting firm Build Change because we know that the organizations that can accomplish these feats the best are those that know these islands and what it means to live through hurricane season on an annual basis. Who We Are

This project is an initiative aimed at assisting five Caribbean states severely affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria. It is spearheaded by the Global Business Leadership Forum and managed by a network of dedicated partners from the region. Nigel Salina

Gregory N. Salina is the Chairman of the Global Business Leadership Forum. A Global organization connecting business leaders across continents. He is also an international consultant working for companies in The USA, Europe, The Middle East, Asia and Africa. He is involved in numerous charities, assisting those in need. Prior to this he worked as an executive in the Financial Services Industry where he won many regional and international awards. Wendy Fitzwilliam

Wendy Fitzwilliam is a Trinidadian lawyer, actress, model, singer, TV Host and beauty queen who won Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe 1998 became the second Miss Universe in history from Trinidad & Tobago and was the fourth woman of African heritage to capture the Miss Universe crown.She was the Vice President of Investment Promotion at the Evolving TecKnologies and Enterprise Development Company Limited (E TecK), a state-owned company in Trinidad & Tobago. She is also attached to the Trinidad Guardian's Guardian in Education: Making a Difference project, and was appointed the Red Cross Ambassador of Youth for the Caribbean. Sacha Thompson

Sacha Thompson recently assumed the Chairmanship of the Digicel Trinidad and Tobago Board of Directors in January 2017. Prior to that she held the role of CEO and in that capacity was responsible for all of Digicel’s operations within Trinidad and Tobago across its Mobile, Business Solutions, Broadband, TV and Digital Media platforms. She has held previous senior positions at Global and local companies; S.M.Jaleel & Co. Ltd, McCann-Erickson and Coca-Cola. Mark Johnson

Mark is Founder and CEO of Equity Management Group LLC based in New York City as well as CEO at Align Entertainment Group, a talent management, production and branding company. His clients have included: David Foster, Robert Redford, Andrea Bocelli, EMI, Universal Music, Warner Bros, Twentieth Television, Grammy Awards, Montblanc, Nespresso, and the Beijing Music Festival. He is the winner of the Peabody, Emmy, Addy, and Adweek’s Event Marketing Award. Living Water

Living Water Community is one of the leading Charitable Organisations in the Caribbean Region with an emphasis on the poor and less fortunate with numerous centres throughout the Caribbean. Serving, the homeless, battered women, homeless young men, drug addicts, victims of HIV Aids, refugees & asylum seekers the poor and destitute. Living Water Community assisted many countries in the region during Natural Disasters. This organisation has been in operation for over 40 years. Build Change

Build Change saves lives in earthquakes and typhoons. Our mission is to greatly reduce deaths, injuries, and economic losses caused by housing and school collapses due to earthquakes and typhoons in emerging nations. Build Change designs disaster-resistant houses and schools in emerging nations and trains builders, homeowners, engineers, and government officials to build them. Build Change leaves in place permanent change in construction practice by building local skills and stimulating local demand. Other Partners

Relief efforts to date
- Phase 1 (Sept -Dec 2017) -

36 containers sent to affected islands with food, medical supplies, building materials, personal care items etc. A team was sent to the ground mere days after hurricane hit landfall to help with management and distribution of supplies
2 vehicles sent to aid with distribution process
A warehouse was built to store supplies
Plans for a school rebuild underway

Rebuilding of 200 homes at approx. US$50,000 per home
