The Vista pillar bowl was hand crafted by the beautiful Ratmini a 45-year-old woman who has dedicated her life to the art of pottery.
Since childhood, her hands have been familiar with clay. She began her journey as a pottery artisan at the age of 10, learning directly from her parents because she never had the chance to go to school.
Reading and counting may be difficult for her, but when it comes to shaping clay into beautiful creations, Ratmini is a true master. With patience and skill, she molds the earth, spinning it on a wooden wheel, crafting strong and artistic pottery.
Every day, Ratmini works in her small workshop, accompanied by her three children. She passes down her ancestral skills, ensuring that this traditional art continues to thrive. For Ratmini, every piece of pottery she creates is not just an object but a reflection of her life’s journey a journey of a resilient woman shaping her future with clay and hard work.
