A great day at The Club Parkwood Village for I Speak Renal Support group. This group meets once a month for dialysis patients from Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals. Lots of games and laughter was shared. Spoke to Conrad from Beaudesert who has been using the Gold Coast Big Red Kidney Bus. Conrad found it convenient and staff as usual amazing.

Article from Robina Lions Club, Australia on page 19 of yesterday's Gold Coast Bulletin regarding the Queensland Big Red Kidney Bus. The Club has raised $300,000.00 to equip the bus.

Big thanks to the lovely Downs family who donated $1000 to the Queensland Big Red Kidney Bus. This was from their Prado 150 Outahere You Tube account. It was so lovely to meet this family. Shelley is on dialysis so she understands what kidney patients are going through. Some news for you. The Bus is in The Brisbane workshop. Now begins the big job of stripping the bus down and then building it up again. It is a long process but at least we have some action.

We have to say a big thank you to Forest Lakes Lions Club for organising a Mothers Day Fundraiser at Rocklea Markets for the Qld Big Red Kidney Bus. They were lots of home made goodies such as knitted coat hangers, pot plants, gloves, heat bags, beeswax wraps, home made cakes. They had a very successful day and all funds going to Big Red Kidney Bus. Thank you Lions. You are amazing.
