Well there we have it! This slabs journey continues from being cut down and turned into a table back in WA over 20 years ago, to being the most challenging yet stunning refurbishment I have ever done.

It is most likely a version of Norfolk pine or that species, with heavy resin pockets that will never full dry, giving the most potent fragrance I have ever smelt from sanding, not just to rival camphor loral but beating it.

Well last year was quite challenging with health issues, life, economic challenges brought on by ever increasing costs.

Our focus has been to make awesome timber products at competitive pricing versus the major retailers this has become pretty much impossible with the importation of products manufactured with Australian timber in countries without the amazing standards of Australia.

So now our focus now will shift to making unique projects that you cannot buy from a big box store.

This unique bedside set was quite the challenge to construct using solid timber with a tight radius keeping a uniform and even finish.

Push to open quality drawers from DTC and finished in Osmo White to really soften the yellow from the hardwood and suit the decor of their forever home.
