Today begins Speech Pathology Week for 2023.
This year's theme is "Communicating for Life".
Speech Pathology Week promotes the speech pathology profession and the work done by speech pathologists. Did you know that 1 in 7 Australian's will have a communication difficulty at some stage in their life?
Communication is a basic human right and Speech Pathology Week helps to raise awareness of communication disability and the role of speech pathologists.

Early Release!
Today we published an update on the latest research about early development and the pandemic, AND we give you some tips for shifting from fear-based conversations to discussions about how we can best support kids where they're at.
Read this research review and then cross your fingers that you'll spend more relaxing this month and less time providing free SLP expertise to all your family and friends. 😉
