Led by experienced interior designers, brothers Marcel and Lec, the Momu style is a mix of ultra-modern, eclectic and contemporary, inspired by designs of the world. Launching MOMU the minute university was out of the way, it did not take long before the pair realised their desired to make MOMU something special and to hone their passion and skill in custom made-to-order furniture. MOMU pride themselves on quality materials and designs and you won't find a MOMU design anywhere else. Every piece of MOMU furniture is designed and manufactured in-house in MOMU's own factory based in the heart of Melbourne, over-seen by their in-house master upholsterer who has been crafting furniture for over 35 years. While the key to the MOMU range is their custom, made to order furniture pieces, which can be tailored to your exact requirements, MOMU also offers a range of pre-made furniture items which can be purchased from their Melbourne showroom or via the website.

If you’re a lover of colour, you’ll probably find it as hard to choose between a rich burgundy and a deep caramel as we did.
It was a deliciously difficult decision!
has such a beautiful range of colours and textures, and after much deliberation, we went with Modernist Mahogany for our new Eden chair.
We love it! 🍷

Do you lean towards a calming neutral palette? If you’re on team neutral, we don’t need to convince you that soft Putty, gentle Sesame and delicate Flax are anything but boring!

If you’re updating your sofa and armchairs, this one’s for you!
The trend these days is to mix things up, so if your sofa fabric is textured, try a smoother fabric for the chair.
If your sofa has square arms, pair it with a chair with rounded arms.
Just remember that matchy-matchy is out, and you’ll be right!🛋️

If you’ve got dodgy knees, you might find a slightly higher seat height makes it easier to get up from your sofa or armchair.

There’s that old adage about how much time we spend in bed, but how much time do you spend on your sofa?

Seat depth can make a real difference to how comfortable you feel, so it’s worth finding what works for you. Choose comfort!

We wanted to share a few pics of Jo’s beautiful MornPen property, which has just hit the market!
