Weather put an end to this project. Woodwork primed and reconditioned doors installed. Metal roof waiting for a good bit of weather. I will start window sashes tomorrow and install when ready.

Roof soffit and fascia completed. Waiting for metal roof and into the shop to make windows carriage door frames and trim and refurbished original doors.
Very happy with the way things are looking.

I always tell apprentices and students you need to be plumb level and square or you are going to have nothing but headache as the job progresses. We have plumb and level but square was out a mile.
We were restricted by the original foundation and brick. Needless to say this added a lot of time to the roof framing, extra cutting and adjusting.

Always a great feeling when you cut the pieces put them up and they fit. Roof taking shape, tomorrow hips and hip rafters.

It is nice to see the lumber pile go down and see the work progress.
Walls framed and ready to start the roof.

Who says work can't be fun. We used an ATv and small trailer to transport the demolition waste over 200 feet to the bin. A 20 yard dumpster was filled to the brim.
Already to start framing.
