Live Edge Cedar Dining Table

I had a few firsts on this project but overall it turned out perfect! These slabs have what’s called “curly wood” around the knot holes. This gives a 3D effect to the wood (see picture 5) and looks absolutely stunning.

Hello friends, family and followers!

It’s been several months without me posting anything woodworking related. During that time I actually moved back to Edmonton (from Calgary) to finish my last year of carpentry and passed my red seal exam. Needless to say I didn’t spend every weekend in Calgary (you know, student life). BUT!! I’m back and I’m here to stay. I have so much planned for 2022 and can’t wait to get the ball rolling. I am going to stick with a certain number of items to make moving forward. That way I can refine my techniques and make better quality pieces. My biggest goal is to becoming an official business ( ) and gain repeat clients for a steady stream of work. 2022 is gonna be huge for NS Crafted Wood and I hope you’re along for the adventure!
