"The greatest gift you can give someone is your time"

This holder is the perfect complement to any hour glass and makes a great personalized gift!✨

Ash and walnut have been one of our favourite combo recently and the natural look of Osmo complements these wood species so well!

This dice tower is simply stunning! The stain really highlights the beautiful grain of the ash and brought this project to a new level.

It was our first time using and it won't be the last! The finish is super easy to apply, easy to repair and looks fantastic!

We never heard of a dice tower before, so we had to do some research before getting things started. We also wanted to find a way to make our joints stronger, so we tried rabbet miters for the first time and they came pretty good!

With the medieval look and the stone engravings, this tower is really starting to look like a true bastion! 🏰

This time of year is always extremely busy for us and we haven’t been in the shop in months!!!

**and by that I mean haven't been home in months 🙄**

I am extremely jealous that Gabe got to spend the afternoon upgrading our planer with a helical head...right before he leaves again tomorrow 😂

So much more efficient and quiet now!

Helical heads from mywoodcutters.com 👀

Very good friends of ours had their first baby a few months ago and we wanted to make something special for them ☺️

This duck pull toy is made of ash and walnut and came with a custom wooden box.

Welcome to the world Baby Nicolò, we can’t wait to meet you!!

When you can’t find the parts you need.. you make them yourself!

We wanted to use plastic bushings to protect our plywood from the friction of the black pipe in our flip top but we couldn’t find anything that fit.

The fliptop is coming along nicely, can’t wait to show you the final result!

These custom dice trays turned out amazing!!!

The trays were made with walnut and maple from Windsor Plywood Calgary South

The bottom was lined with black leather from Buckskin Leather Company

And we sprayed General Finishes water based poly as a top coat for a durable finish.

2 days ago, we were freezing our fingers buying plywood.Today, it was 6 degrees, sunny and we are cutting plywood in the backyard 😅

Finally getting the CNC flip top going… so we can bring sheets of plywood in the shop when it will be -40 again!

Today was all about hand tools!

Cleaned up all the glue on the dice trays, flushed up the splines and gave them quick sand.

Custom order of dice trays coming along pretty nicely!

Beautiful black walnut, maple splines and D&D dice engravings.

I never understood why we needed so many jigs… until I started needing them ALL THE TIME!

Trying to clamp this irregular shape was almost impossible. A simple cutout in some thin plywood allowed me to sand without my pieces sliding around!
