2024 is off to a fantastic start and the workshop is open for a new project.

First project going out the door this year is going to highlight a joint project that was just completed.

Flattop Horsemanship approach me with a design idea for a batch of bosal block for his western shop.

Pictured here is the first group to come out of the shop.
Two different species of hardwood gives a nice natural feel as well as being sealed with a clear polyurethane to make sure they stand up to regular wear and tear.

The boot pullers are a nice little bonus to go along with this order and will also be available through the Flattop shop!

A great event that I had the pleasure of making some first place prizes for! This event is a race all in honour of people that have now passed on. Thank you Marina Lutz Eckert for organizing and putting on an event that touches so many people’s hearts.

From the woodpile comes a project for a great event!

Angels Among Us Barrel Race asked for prizes to be given to winners in each devision and I was happy to oblige them with these wonderful ceder frames.

I’ve designed a space for a 6x8 photo(still working out to to attach said photo)
And then a little shelf for the winners buckle.

I enjoy the large projects and their complex designs but sometimes the small simple ones are what’s best.

Another project delivered to a happy customer!

Custom made queen bed with six stalls for all your toy horse needs as well as ample barn space on the end for hay storage!

I present to y’all for your viewing pleasure, a completed horse stall bed.

This project had been a challenge in many ways and yet I enjoyed every minute in the shop working on it.

I am left with a few more small details to finish up as well as final customer approval before it gets a wood grain enhance and clear finish.

I can’t wait to see this bed make it to its new home in the coming weeks.

Spring is here folks!

Which means I’ve been hard at the main job relocating dirt.

That hasn’t stopped me from getting after a new project.
Said project is every little girls dream bed. A queen size that comes equip with six stalls for her toy horses and a barn door at the end (imagine there is a door there while i wait for Amazon to get their life together sending the hardware 😅)

The customer has opted for a nature look with an enhanced grain effect, so stay turned for that!
