Tinker's Hatch Upholstery & Decor

This project was incredibly fun and rewarding. The owners took the time to paint the woodwork a glossy black, which complimented the gorgeous royal purple cut-velvet fabric. Being able to transform a piece so dramatically is what I love most about my craft.

This super sweet antique chair got a new look with gorgeous silk plaid and a new twist on double piping.

At last....I obtained this 1880s chaise longue almost 10 years ago and finally managed to find the time to refinish the fabulous carved walnut woodwork. I stripped it down to the wood frame and reupholstered with all new webbing, foam and stunning peridot green cut velvet from Chintz & Co. Something so beautifully hand made deserves to be preserved and loved for another 150 years. I will be selling this piece for $2,000.00.

Small chair, big impact. Peridot green chenille compliments the ch*****ne frame beautifully.
