At last....I obtained this 1880s chaise longue almost 10 years ago and finally managed to find the time to refinish the fabulous carved walnut woodwork. I stripped it down to the wood frame and reupholstered with all new webbing, foam and stunning peridot green cut velvet from Chintz & Co. Something so beautifully hand made deserves to be preserved and loved for another 150 years. I will be selling this piece for $2,000.00.

This week's Before and After. Although the reupholstering was extremely challenging, it was great working with such a fun fabric. My customer kindly shared a photo of the pair in their sunny sitting nook overlooking the sea.

Some recent "before and after" photos. It really is remarkable how a fabric makeover can give an old or worn piece new life. It is so satisfying to be able to give customers a whole new look to their décor.

The owner of this catamaran redesigned the seat layout to reduce the curves, creating a much more comfortable space to lounge and stretch out. The cracked and ill-fitting cushions were given the heave-ho and replaced with new foam seats and back rests, and upholstered with a lovely subtle teal and tan flecked fabric.

This beloved, comfy La-Z-Boy got a gorgeous modern look with this fabulous rich teal fabric.
