COMMISSION PIECE:

Allie was looking to have these tables spruced up a bit! I think we achieved just that!

These pair were originally not matching, one original and the other previously painted black. Because these are not solid wood, we had to go with painting them entirely. Both tables were scuff sanded, primed, and painted in a beige tone called 'Driftwood', poly to protect. New handles modernize them perfectly!

Hard to believe these are the same tables!

Sometimes painting pieces entirely is just needed for some spaces and decor. This was exactly the idea Sonya had for her vanity, and I agree! It looks so much fresher now!

A beautiful piece as it was, but will suit her space much better now with this blue/grey tone!

The entire piece was scuff sanded, painted in a blue/grey tone called 'Hurricane', poly to protect. The original k***s were polished up and now pop!

Amazing what some paint can do. An entirely different piece now!

Now, is this not an incredible transformation?!

After finishing this little cabinet, I went back and found the original photo and honestly… yikes. 😂 It's hard to believe it's the same piece!

This dated, dark cabinet has been completely transformed into a warm, natural and unique statement piece.

The exterior was sanded back to bare wood, then given a soft, neutral-toned stain and finished with multiple coats poly. The interior was refreshed in a neutral beige, and the side panels received a beautiful botanical-inspired patterned paper that I think brings the whole piece together perfectly.

With its glass doors and two interior shelves, this cabinet would be perfect for displaying dishes, glassware, books, plants, collectibles or decor. It would also make a great little storage cabinet for a bathroom, entryway, bedroom, office or living space.

So many possibilities for this one!

This little cigar humidor is such a neat piece! Louise and her husband were looking to have it spruced up a bit.

The entire piece was sanded back, re-stained and poly to protect. Most of those original nicks, dings & surface imperfections have been removed. It looks so much better now!

This beautiful solid wood mid-century style highboy dresser has been given a completely new life!

The original finish was dull, heavily worn, and had numerous areas of flaking and peeling. After being stripped down to bare wood, the stunning natural grain hidden beneath was revealed, and it's absolutely gorgeous! 🤎

Hard to believe these are the same tables! There wasn't very much going for them before, to me anyway!

These ones have received a complete transformation.

Both tables were scuff sanded down, holes, dings & original engravings filled and sanded back. Primed, and painted in a tone called 'Sunday Tea', poly to protect. The drawers have been lined with a new paper and new k***s now updates these guys.

Simple & much more modernized, fully functional, and perfect sized tables for just about any space! Great for end tables or nightstands.

Some pieces should just stay as they originally were made to be. Just like this antique buffet/sideboard.
Nothing wrong with how this beauty was before, but it did have quite a few dings and scratches and needed a total refresh overall. Unfortunately there are no markings of age of this piece, but I can tell by the way it's constructed, it is definitely old!

I found it hard for my eyes to determine where to draw to this piece originally. So, I removed a few of the wood embellishments on the doors and the top back panel. I think this simplifies and modernizes it a bit more.

There is not a lick of paint on this stunner. The entire piece was sanded back to bare wood (quite the task!) Re-stained using Varathane stain called 'Briarsmoke', multiple coats of poly to protect. The drawers are now lined with a new paper. The original hardware was perfect as is, a quick cleaning and polishing now they pop against the wood.

I think this looks much more warmer and welcoming now!! 🤎

Definitely not cheap IKEA stuff with this one. Solid wood. Antique. Timeless. And hopefully to be enjoyed for many more years to come!

The entire dresser was scuff sanded, filled and repaired wherever needed. Painted entirely in a color called 'Let's Mauve It!', poly to protect. The new gold hardware really updates the piece as well, and new paper lines the drawers.
