Hi friends 👋
A quick update for you all, I’ve been going over in my head for days how to write this 🙃
We were going to be wrapping things up at the end of this month because it wasn’t growing my business in the direction I’d hoped. Things had become unmanageable and gave us no life/work balance which is very important to our family.
Since the broken arm situation and no summer camp anymore, things have become really unmanageable and closing the kiosk now is the best decision for our family and business.
I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to try this out, I’m so grateful for all the new friends I’ve met and the new connections I’ve made from being here.
I could give you a vague business statement like “I’m moving along to something else” to save face because it feels embarrassing and disappointing when something doesn’t work out as we hoped, especially when it’s been advertised and posted online. 😅 Then I thought about the posts I’ve saw online of people being vulnerable about their life and how it made me feel less alone or less scared to fail, and I really appreciate that authenticity and that’s the algorithm I’d like to stay in.
So we tried, it didn’t work out and we are pivoting back to markets. I have some great ones lined up for the rest of the summer and I hope to see you there ✌️✨
