Have you seen the new changes coming to Alberta's OHS legislation? They take effect March 31, 2023 and require everyone to update their first aid kits to be compliant! There are new items required and some removed. There is also going to be changes to the naming of first aid levels as well as updated training! More information can be found below!

Some great info here! This is why as lay rescuers you don't check for a pulse and as BLS providers you only check for a pulse during your initial assessment.
