The barley twist leg side table has been refinished. I really like this little table.

My latest marketplace purchase, the finish on this is in dire need of attention. I love the barley twist legs. I think this will be an attractive side table.

This is truly a Family Heirloom. Came in wobbly, half of the spindles knocked out and with a worn finish.
The customer had this to say about this piece. "The cradle was built for my father 84 years ago in the Netherlands by his grandfather and uncle. It was one of the very few things the family took with them when they fled the Netherlands in the middle of the night in 1952 to board a ship and come to Canada. The cradle has been used by every newly born family member since. And I hope it can be restored and used by several generations to come."

I am finished the faux tiger oak dresser I purchased on marketplace for $100.
Well the Tiger Oak disappeared but I was left with a solid maple dresser and mirror. In my opinion this grain shouldn't have been painted over to begin with. I am very pleased with the results.

This dresser & mirror will be auctioned off in the near future. (Once I figure out the best way to go about that)

I purchased this dresser on marketplace for $100. It is a "faux tiger oak" meaning that grain is all printed on. When I strip it we will find out what kind of wood it actually is. It has a solid frame and a beveled mirror, hopefully it is not made of varied species as they sometime did knowing it was going to be covered anyways. Regardless the transformation on this piece should be pretty drastic.

3 of 3 epoxied now. I truly appreciate the base and the vibrant grain on the top. Exquisite piece. It's a privilege to work on these distinctive pieces that my customer inherited and have never had finished.

I have finished the dresser I purchased for $60 on marketplace. I stripped and sanded it, leaving the deeper battle wounds to tell their story. I stained the frame and top in Old Masters Provincial gel stain. I did the drawer fronts in Old Masters Spanish Oak gel stain. Giving a gentle contrast. I finished off using Old Masters Polyurethane. I purchased this dresser on marketplace for $60 I will be using this for myself. I am excited to see how it turns out.
