Here's a little colour to distract from the windy deep-freeze that's happening outside right now.
This set of dining chairs went from formal and faded to bright and cheerful with a multicoloured stripe. The pattern on this fabric is asymmetrical and installed on half the chairs in one direction, and the other half in the other direction so that when they face each other across the table the pattern is mirrored.

An antique caned chair with a sagging coil spring seat and missing its cushion. The coil springs were reinforced with the original horsehair and natural fibre padding preserved, the seat & toss cushions were made with all new materials, and all were upholstered with a fade resistant Ennis Fabrics floral woven crepe & chenille fabric called Bloom in the colour Putty.

New cushions for the ol' porch rockers!
Comfortable seat and back pads made with the client's own terracotta linen-look fabric give these lovely old woven rocking chairs a new life.

A rattan sofa with customized foam cushions that follow the uniquely shaped arms and back is the perfect place to lounge on this screen porch. New foam in the seat cushions and a durable, fade resistant outdoor fabric in a white on navy botanical print will make it even more welcoming this spring. Charlotte Fabrics

This cozy club chair held special sentimental value for it's owner and despite springs that had sprung, faded and worn fabric that was falling apart, and padding that had given up entirely, it still had good bones so there was hope for it! New seat springs and supportive foam padding were installed. Slight style changes were made to update the look by eliminating the diamond tufting on the back and and giving the arms flat facings with piping detail. But the piece de resistance is the eclectic mix of fabrics sourced by the owner, with a wonderful sunflower rug-hooking panel that fit the outside back perfectly!
Let this inspire you to renew an old piece that you might have otherwise thought was only good for the dump. And indulge your whimsical side by using more than one fabric, or even a hand-made element.

The floral chintz fabric on this set of 4 dinette chairs had faded drastically and become threadbare, and the seat foundation and padding had flattened and sagged over time. New jute webbing and supportive foam provide a much more comfortable seat for morning coffee, and the cobblestone patterened chenille fabric compliments the rustic chairs perfectly. This fantastic old iron glider sofa from the screen porch of a family cottage got all new supportive and comfortable foam cushion inserts. The unique white on blue botanical print fabric is a durable outdoor fabric from that resists liquids, stains, mildew, bacteria, and fading, and can be spot cleaned with a little dish soap and water.

This Mid-century modern lounge chair with teak arm panels and legs got a lush glow-up from the original avocado green! The wood was cleaned and treated with Danish oil to restore it's warmth. Then it was upholstered with a luxurious blue boucle from Kravet Fabrics.
