She learns early that her needs come last.
That shrinking herself is somehow easier than asking for space. That carrying everyone else’s weight is safer than setting it down. That she can hold it all — the emotions, the stress, the unspoken stories — as long as she doesn’t make it anyone else’s problem.
And she does. Quietly.
Beautifully. At great cost to herself.

Some things don’t heal on a timeline.
They live quietly in the body - tucked inside a season, a song, a moment that used to feel like home. 🎄
This is what somatic work reaches.

Letting the light back in. 🌞
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’m no longer carrying with me into this next season of life.
The people-pleasing.Staying too long in places that no longer feel aligned.Keeping quiet when I really needed to speak.Making myself smaller for the comfort of others.Avoiding the conversations I knew needed to happen.
Sometimes self-abandonment isn’t obvious.It happens slowly, in quiet little ways over time.
And eventually, the body feels it too.
It holds the stress.The tension.The emotions we never fully processed.The things we pushed down just to keep going.
One of the things biofeedback has helped me realize is how much our bodies are communicating beneath the surface.The subtle stress patterns.The nervous system overload.The emotions and experiences we’ve adapted to for so long that we stop noticing them.
Awareness creates space for change.
And sometimes healing isn’t about doing more or forcing harder…it’s about releasing what was never meant to be carried forever.
That’s where things start to shift.

Romanticize the Struggle ♥️
There is beauty in how you rise
when everything is pulling you down.
In how you choose softness
without surrendering your strength.
In the quiet of your undoing,
in the depths of your pain.
The struggle doesn’t ruin you.
It reveals you.
When we shift from being the victim of circumstance
to an active participant in our pain, everything changes.
It changes from “Why is this happening to me?”
to “What can I learn here?”
How can I allow this to break me open
for my highest good?
