Last job of 2020. What a crazy year this has been. Yet still the busiest we’ve been. On this project we worked with yet again some amazing clients. We removed a closet to make room for a new pantry that will add a significant amount of more storage space in this cozy kitchen. We refaced with new shaker doors instead of refinishing the outdated double arch doors that were existing. We added under cabinet LED strip lights, a light valance, crown moulding, and a new tile backsplash. This was the perfect job to finish the year with. Thanks to our wonderful clients Ken & Tanya. Merry Christmas to everyone and the happiest of New Years to all

This kitchen was a great one with the ideal clients. We laughed. We stressed out together. We rejoiced in the final result. We started the week with the kitchen doors still on and backsplash already removed. We covered all surfaces and masked the openings off. All surfaces were cleaned with a powerful yet safe and environmentally friendly cleaner using essential oils. Then everything got sanded and wiped down to prep for spraying. We then sprayed all of the cabinets with Kem Aqua water based lacquer and the accompanying surfacer/primer using our new Pro Comp 9.5 HVLP sprayer. We also added a new crown moulding to the bulkhead and painted the bulkhead in the same colour Chantilly Lace. Under cabinet lights were installed last week. We modified a cabinet to fit a larger fridge that is on back order unfortunately. Filled all the grain in the old oak to get a smooth maple like finish. Tiled a new backsplash and installed a new range hood. New custom shaker doors were ordered a few weeks ago. We finished them in the shop along with the light valance. All of this had to be done by Saturday ahead of a real estate showing. We were there until thirty minutes before they were scheduled to be there. It was a great week. A fun week. A stressful week. But we got it done. Check out the page to see pics and videos of the process guelphkitchenrevival on FB. Big shout out to James couldn’t have done it without him

This job was done a few weeks ago. We replaced an upper and a lower cabinet with a large three door pantry. We refinished the existing doors and got new doors for the pantry to match the existing. We added crown moulding to the bulkhead and painted the bulkhead the same colour as everything else to try to incorporate it into the cabinets. Add a new light valance underneath the upper cabinets

Here we prepped for an in house spray. Everything is covered and taped off. Only thing left uncovered is the areas we are spraying. We put up plastic walls with a zipper and vent out a window with a box fan. Also added the crown moulding to the bulkhead and light valance under the upper cabinets

Another refinishing job with a happy customer. This is a custom colour that I absolutely love! I’ve put this colour in over 20 kitchens. It works with almost any other colour in your kitchen. We ordered five new doors and installed sanded glass for an opaque appearance. The range hood was delayed unfortunately

Another collaboration with a contractor from Kitchener We were hired to refinish the cabinets only. This was our first in house spray job. Thank you so much for allowing us to experiment on your beautiful kitchen. Everything went great and the final product surpassed even my expectations. Colour is Sherwin Williams Cloud White @ Kitchener, Ontario

This project was completed a while back. It was a collaborative effort with another contractor. KR was hired to refinish the cabinets only. However, we do offer counter tops and backsplash a too. Absolutely beautiful kitchen and so much more light! Thanks and Chris McIntee for letting me help revive your kitchen. Colour is Sherwin Williams Decorators White

Spraying a kitchen today. Spent all day yesterday prepping everything so all that’s not covered are the areas we are spraying. This will give a brand new factory grade finish to the cabinets to match the factory grade finish on the doors that are sprayed in the shop

Here is the final product from the one I posted last week. Appliances are late but our work here is complete. We added crown moulding and light valance (as per usual), added the posts and skirting for the 16” countertop overhang on the island. Anything under a 10” overhang no additional support is required. We refinished these doors instead of refacing. We also added six new pull out drawers in the island with soft close gliders and all doors were outfitted with new soft close hinges. As you can see you can literally choose any colour you want.

Another happy customer. In this one we added upper and lower cabinets on the right hand side. Replaced the crown moulding and light valance. Refinished all the cabinets and ordered new doors instead of refinishing existing (that’s called refacing instead of refinishing). When we do a reface we get the doors from Miller Woodworking in Guelph as raw wood and I finish them in my shop. We removed and installed a new backsplash and new counter top from Stone Innovation in Guelph and New gold handles to match the gold faucet. We are very proud to use only local businesses when sourcing materials needed for our kitchen @ Rockwood, Ontario
