What did you need most during your postpartum journey?
Just a few reasons why you should work with me (or another postpartum doula!), but my top skill isn't even listed here - it's my ability to be flexible and tackle whatever is needed in the moment. Whether that's an empathetic ear, answers to all your questions, help with that first bath, support through the day 3–5 hormone crash, or just someone to cuddle your baby while you close your eyes for a bit... I'm your gal. And pssst... I can usually do several of those things at once!
My ultimate goal is simple: to do whatever I can to help you breathe a little easier during your postpartum journey.
Using your recipes or mine, I can keep your fridge stocked with nourishing meals and grab-and-go snacks, help keep you in clean clothes, and make sure you're eating off clean dishes. 😉
I've (mostly) gotten over being embarrassed about parents hearing me sing nonsense songs to babies or bust out my questionable dance moves to keep them soothed and entertained.
And finally, I always hope to work myself out of a job. Helping you trust your instincts and build confidence is one of my greatest joys. Watching you bloom and realize, "I've got this," makes my heart sing. 💗

I truly love what I do. Caring for families is close to my heart, and it's a privilege to be trusted in such a vulnerable season.
It is deeply rewarding, but it can also be emotionally heavy. When you spend your days holding space for others, it's easy to carry a little of that weight away with you. (Which I really hope lightens your load!!)
So, about once a month, I take a few quiet hours to refill my own cup so I can continue showing up with the calm, compassionate, non-judgemental support every family deserves.
Today, it was at Saltair Nordic Spa & Wellness ! Truly refreshing! How do you fill your cup??

This is who simultaneously rocks your newborn, bolsters your confidence, and fills your fridge with one-handed snacks.
She’s always been a nurturer, a helper, a healer, and someone who gives meaningful advice. She’ll remind you to eat, refill your water, and cheer you on after that first postpartum poo (yours and baby’s!!!)
She brings both lived and professional experience with little ones and postpartum hormonal surges, and stays up to date on evidence-based information.
Hi! I’m Aimee. I love my job and get such a rush watching families bloom!!!

Reflections on Mother's Day, 2026
My sweet babies. The two of you made me a mom, and it’s been such a joy (and a whirlwind not without a few grey hairs!) watching you grow into adulthood.
From Elliot’s labour starting on her due date but ending 48 hours later with a fist-first “power pose” delivery, to Felix trying to arrive 10 weeks early and then deciding to be 10 days overdue instead, you’ve both always rocked your own colours.
Parents spend so much time worrying about how to raise good humans, but you never really know if you’ve done it until one day… you realize it’s already happening. I wish I knew the magic formula!
How lucky am I?
I am so proud to be your mom, your cheerleader, your home base, and your protective willow tree.
Thank you for choosing me as your mama. ❤️

Do these stairs lead to adventure? Or do they make you start to worry?
Maybe you want to avoid them for fear of slipping. Maybe they make you want to splash right in. Maybe it depends on the day.
Navigating postpartum, and parenthood in general, can feel a lot like this. There are always different ways to view the path ahead, and many possible turns along the journey.
You don’t have to leap. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep moving. But you don't need to do it alone.
Want someone to sit beside you, guide you, or cheer you on? A doula can do that!
