One of the things I love about what I do is discovering the stories behind the treasures I find!

This week, I came across a collection of Amos Pewter Christmas ornaments and decided to learn a little more about the name behind them.

Founded in 1974 by Greg and Suzanne Amos in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Amos Pewter has become a beloved Canadian name known for its beautiful, handcrafted pewter designs. 🍁

And here I was, just thinking I’d found some beautiful Christmas ornaments! 😂❤️

I love discovering amazing Canadian makers and sharing a little of their story along the way.

One of my favourite finds from the US goodwill. I’m a baggy if breakables that I’m shocked any of them survived I found this beauty !!!!!! Bag was priced at $3.59 (US) this is a Vintage Lenox swan card holder/ cake topper. Stands under 3” tall. Eyes and beak are gold plated and sells for over $100 Canadian !!!!!!!!
