We’ve trusted in our shop for years — not just because the equipment performs, but because they genuinely support the people behind the work. That matters to us, especially as a husband-and-wife team building this life side by side.

Here we’re working on a sculptural wall art piece demonstrating at the

Fun fact: a properly done weld can actually be stronger than the metal around it.

It’s all about heat control, patience, and getting it right the first time.

Honestly… marriage feels a lot like that.

We started out as two young newlyweds with a small garage and no real blueprint. Just a willingness to learn, mess up, try again, and keep building — both our work and our life.

What began as a business slowly turned into something bigger.

This page, this life — it’s all evolved into a mix of art, metal, family, ideas, and seasons that don’t always look perfect from the outside.

Some days it’s sparks flying and everything clicking.
Other days it’s slower, harder, and a lot less polished.

But like welding… the strength comes from showing up, doing the work, and holding things together through the heat.

That’s the part people don’t always see.

If you’re new here, welcome! We’re Priscilla and Luke👋

Still learning. Still building. Still figuring it all out together.

He set the whole thing up!🎨👨🏼‍🎨 …

Made me feel really special when I otherwise was starting to feel a bit down in the dumps🫠

You don’t realize how easy it is to take for granted all the muscles used to sit up in a chair, talk or laugh. It hurt! And the stairs had me winded. But it was nice to have somewhere to be😄

All part of the recovery ❤️‍🩹

Whose painting was better?!

If you’re new here, and have yet to scroll down memory lane (however definitely do so😊 ) here’s a look at some things we make:

We have a wide breadth of work. Between the two of us, our different backgrounds and skillsets bring a variety of projects. Make sure to check out our website! www.plsmithed.com

Apart from sculpture we’re well versed in

Furniture: chairs, tables, shelving

Houseware: wall hooks, bottle openers, bottle toppers, trivets

Tools: branding irons, knives, palette knives/paint brushes

Signs, frames, Bracelets, key chains, ball markers

And the latest, Golf putter shafts.

For awhile we’ve struggled, under the pressure to find a “niche” but we’ve come to accept that we can’t pigeon hole our selves for the sake of instagram’s algorithm. It is so easy to fall into the trap but you’ve got to stick to staying true to yourself and not worry what others think of you. The ones following and sticking around are there for that very reason.

We’re grateful for all of you and for being one reason we continue to show up. Which of these projects are your favorite? What would you like to see more of?

Have a great week guys 🤘🔥

Our collab with of the Scotty Cameron chain putters with his diamond link is moving along💎⛓️

Stainless chain TIG welded together with the POWER MIG® 215 MPi™. To fuse the stainless to the diamond studded silver link, I used our torch and their Safety-Silv 56 silver brazing alloy. Polishing on the hyper-disc is next for this and it’ll be ready to assemble.

After the putter is done, we’ll be making a custom display box for it, with a recess it will sit in, all lined with black velvet👌🏻That will be coming shortly

Stay tuned on this project, there may be a limited number of these available in the near future!

Latest chain putters polished up and out the door!

This old PING Cushin 3 brass putter head I had laying around was beat up and developed a patina that made it look like it spent a decade in the bottom of a pond. With the use of some wire wheeling and surface conditioning belts on the belt grinder, it came back life !

The other putter head is custom made and machined by finished off with a beautiful hand engraving on the bottom.

Extremely happy with how both of these came out. As with all of the custom chain shaft putters I have been making, huge shoutout to for making it happen. Using the POWER MIG® 215 MPi™ to TIG weld the stainless chain together is the best part in making these, seeing it come together and showcasing the dimes of filler metal at each link🔗 Excited to make some more! Thought it’s about time to re-introduce ourselves to newcomers and thank the OGs for sticking around!

We are Priscilla and Luke Smith, artists, married couple dabbling in a little bit of everything. Before metal fabrication we got our start making together building furniture for our apartment. Cilla went to school for art and Luke engineering.

We met in high school art class and have just been navigating this crazy life together ever since. Today we’re now parents of two little beautiful girls, swimming in a sea of highs, lows, ebs and flows.

Thank you for being here🤍🖤
