Crafted in Montreal by our dedicated artisans, every Dune chair is made to order.
Since 2020 we have now made over 500 of the Dune chairs. That will sound like a lot to some, and so few to others.
They all go through our hands from the rough lumber and leather hide on to the last coat of oil. Reality is that we are so proud of everyone of them as they leave the shop on to their new home.

The Nord Chair

Proudly crafted in Montreal by our talented artisans, the Nord Chair embodies exceptional craftsmanship.

The leather backrest gently embraces the chairs wooden structure. The materials are put forward here and combine to give the Nord chair its unique character.

Here, the warm sheen of walnut perfectly complements our rich full-grain tan leather.

The crisp ridge sweeping across its backrest and the subtle organic joinery lend both visual and tactile qualities that define the Dune collection.

Nichée sur les pentes du mont Royal, cette résidence met en valeur une collection d’art unique. Pour lier de manière harmonieuse deux espaces à niveaux différents, Vaste conçoit et fabrique un divan encastré sur mesure. À la recherche d’un confort absolu, les coussins en plumes et son soignemseument recouvert d’un cuir italien. La table et les chaises Nord, ainsi que notre tabouret Olmsted meubles aussi cette élégante maison montréalaise.

Built-in leather and oak sofa

Mont-Royal Residence

Nestled on the sides of the Mount Royal, this residence showcases a unique art collection.
Linking seamlessly two split level spaces required the creation of custom built-in sofa upholstered with
feather cushions carfeully recovered in fine italian leather.
The home also features the Nord table and chairs, as well as our Olmsted stool topped with a custom
leather lining.

Okuwa created a unique dining experience centered on specialty Japanese cuisine in the heart of Washington, DC.
Architects chose our Dune chairs to match shoji-like dividers. Their attention to detail is on full display through the dividers millwork details.
