• Our app-based product allows users to remotely view available street parking spots us
ing GPS tracking through a web enabled mobile device, independent of physical sensors.
• Select, and reserve desired parking spot from a mobile device.
• Get directions in real time, with traffic and rerouting factored in using Google Maps.
• Pay for reservation and occupation for the desired duration of the selected parking spot. Innovative features:
• Refund feature: refunds overpaid parking fees, as requested by the city of Montreal early 2016.
• Sponsored spots: parking activity sponsored for a period, after viewing sponsor’s message on the user’s device right after successfully reserving. (Fig -1- below).
• Added benefit: indirectly delegate parking subsidization to companies, thereby making parking cheaper for users.
• ETA prediction: notify the user if his arrival to the reserved spot will be on time, or else will propose changes via tracking his trip through the device GPS.
