I have been reading dwell magazines since I was a kid, my parents had a yearly subscription. And as long as I can remember it has always been a dream of mine to be published in dwell. Apparently dreams do come true!!! Clink the link in my bio to check it out.

Removing plaster from a breezeway is never fun. A friend of mine wants his breezeway remodelled so we went to work, insulated everything including the floor. Can’t wait to see what it looks like with trim and lights. @ Alta Vista, Ottawa

You start off with a cut list then you make a cut pile. I few dados later you have 13 drawer boxes. I’m not a cabinet maker, by any means. But I’ve always wanted to make my own custom kitchen!!! What better chance will I get then when buying your first home and having a few months to renovate!!! Excited to move in and just enjoy the space!!! @ Ottawa, Ontario

Putting the final touches on the peninsula in the kitchen. I used 2 to install doors and shelves. These two jigs alone must have shaved hours of my install time.

This kitchen peninsula is coming together really nicely!!! It’s been somewhat of a struggle to turn the ideas in my head into reality. This kitchen has so much meaning to me. It has provided for my family for 3 generations now. So I wanted to reinvent the space in a way that would pay tribute to this house, as well as breathing new life into the space!!! @ Ottawa, Ontario
