This Gibbard headboard got a proper refresh just in time for Spring! It belonged to my clients late mother and it will be set up in a guest bedroom.
That buttery smooth, sheer finish and timeless colour will set a calm tone, but also allow bold colours/patterns to be easily used.

In my spare time, I worked on this bedroom set, I’ve been working on it since September (!!!). I had no clue where I was going with it. I stripped each item down to bare wood, hated how the stain appeared, then took a break out of frustration (lol), BUT it led me to making it truly timeless.
French provincial furniture will always remind me of Beauty and the Beast. It’s so perfectly detailed, you can’t help but be in awe of the craftsmanship that exists so rarely in today’s world.

I looooove me some true ArtDeco with a cascading top surface - and this four drawer beauty perfectly fits the mould.
This piece was washed and sanded followed by three coats of ‘Everett’ by and double sealed with clear coat sealer. The hardware is original, but the brass detailing got a simple clean, polish and finished with a brass gilding wax to bring it back to life.
All drawers are fully functional. They have been lathered with a lemon salve - this helps bring the wood back to its natural hydration and ease of opening and closing.

This solid wood, ornate hutch has been given a second chance at life. It is a classic piece that will offer tons of storage space in a dining room, bedroom, or possibly an oversized entryway.
I washed, sanded, painted and sealed the hutch by hand using nothing but professional grade products and brushes (thank you to ).
The brass hardware is original. All pieces were boiled, polished and hand painted with an antique finish. I love the look of the hardware as it fully compliments the hutch without overpowering the rest of my vision.

This mid century, four drawer dresser has been restored to what I think and hope my grandparents would love, it was theirs. Anytime I refinished something new and had a visit with my grandmother, she was always in awe of how beautiful furniture could be with a bit of TLC and she always complimented my work. She dabbled in painting herself, mostly on canvas but she had an eye for art throughout her lifetime.
It took some convincing for my mom to keep this one, but I’m very pleased to know that she gave in and decided to replace a different dresser in her home with this one. I always say this, but some things are just not meant to be sold and this happens to fall in that category.
I washed, sanded, stained, and painted highlighted pieces of this dresser to complete its look, followed by three coats of poly. The drawers (inside and out) were lathered with a lemon salve to rehydrate the wood and have everything smelling fresh!

This vintage cabinet took a classy turn, it went from drab to fab, and has become a statement piece that can stay in my clients family for years to come!
It was in very good condition to begin with! It got regular refinishing treatment - sanding, washing, three coats of paint, three coats of sealer and soon enough it was ready for pictures.
Thank you Lisa for reaching out and allowing me to work on your grandmothers item! I hope she loves it when she sees it at Christmas. 🎄🥹
