Flippin Finds

When your 7 year old nephew wants a desk for his room and Auntie finds the perfect little desk, we refinish it however he wants (with a little coaching because he wanted it all painted in rainbows).
The body is painted in Verdant (now retired) by Mélange Paints and the drawers are done in my new favorite paint wash using Smoked Walnut from Legacy Paints ● Furniture & Cabinet Paint. The adorable rainbow k***s are from Amazon. I LOVE this desk so much!!!

This stunning nightstand/end table was painted in the newly released Mulberry by Mélange Paints. The pictures don’t do this colour justice, it’s such a deep rich beautiful tone, and with the gold hardware that was originally on this piece 😍😍😍😍.

I was so excited that I finally found myself a blondie to refinish. Little did I know once I started sanding I would find the most beautiful wood grain. There was no way I could put paint over this. After watching Jen Perfectly Imperfect Furniture • DIY Painted Furniture use a paint wash using Legacy Paints ● Furniture & Cabinet Paint Smoked Walnut, I had to try it.
Let me say pictures don’t do this any justice. This paint wash turned out stunning and I don’t know that I will use stain ever again, lol!!
I am very happy to say this piece is staying in my house and is now my new coffee bar!!

This was my first piece using Legacy Paints ● Furniture & Cabinet Paint Smoked Walnut and it’s is a beautiful colour. So smooth and easy to work with. And I think this little sofa table turned out beautifully!

I love an adorable set of nesting tables. Painted in Lincoln Boulevard (darkest colour), Old Soul Grey (lighter colours), and the middle table is a custom mix of the two. All by Mélange Paints

I don’t use lighter colours often enough. Love these end tables painted in Knapsack Khaki by Mélange Paints and stained with a very light coat of dark walnut.

Painted the bases in a new to me colour called Chicken Salad by . Such a unique colour. And the tops were stained in Espresso. Love this combo!

Beautiful waterfall dresser painted in a dark navy called Stars at Night by and the drawers stained in dark walnut (of course 😉)

I love refinishing cedar chests, but this one definitely tested my patience. In the end it was so worth it!!!

Would you believe me if I told you I got this completely solid wood handmade coffee table for free off the sidewalk?? Well I did.
Look at this beauty now!!! Restoration Bronze by and of course my fav dark walnut stain! What a transformation!!!!
