A Touch of Love

From sad little thrift store table to something worth coming home to 🙌 When I spotted this little table sitting at the thrift store, looking a little sad and very much overlooked, I KNEW it had to come home with me. 🥹❤️
There was just something about those beautiful curved legs and all of that potential hiding underneath the tired finish. I could already picture what it could become. So of course I brought her home and gave her a little love, a little patience, and a whole new lease on life. 😁 now she’s feeling fresh, timeless and ready to make a beautiful little statement in an entryway, hallway, or wherever she finds her new home.

Proof once again that sometimes the pieces everyone else overlooks are the ones that just need someone to see their potential. 🤎

And AGAIN… here’s proof that you don’t need a matching furniture set to create something beautiful! 😍 a little paint, a little vision, and a whole lot of “trust the process” later, and somehow they turned into the SWEETEST little vanity set! 🥹

I especially love when mismatched pieces come together and end up looking like they were made for each other. There’s something so much more special about giving completely unrelated pieces a second life instead of buying a perfectly matched set straight from a store!!! And honestly, can we talk about how adorable this would be in a little girl’s bedroom?!

My daughter recently switched rooms at her dad’s house, so I went over to help her organize and decorate her new space exactly the way she wanted it. Once her room was all set up, she decided her nightstand needed a little makeover too! ✨

So she came up with a plan, her dad and her sanded the nightstand down, and then we brought it over to my place to make her transformation dreams come true. 🥰

Once it was painted, she got to dig through my collection of hundreds of k***s to find the perfect ones. Where of course, she landed on these beautiful crystal k***s. 😍😍 They were absolutely perfect and tied the whole look together!

The best part? She LOVES it!!!! 🥹🥹 theres something SO special about creating something for your own child, especially when they get to be part of the process from start to finish.

She had the vision, we brought it to life, and now she has a piece in her room that feels completely hers and THAT makes me a very happy mama. 🥹💕

Time for another throwback!! When I first had the idea to put an elephant on this little table, I’ll admit, it felt a little out there and definitely a lirtle out of my comfort zone. 😅

But I decided to run with it anyway!! And honestly, isn’t that what art is all about? Creating something that makes YOU happy. Stepping outside the lines, trying something different, and expressing yourself in ways that feel fun and inspiring? even if it’s not everyone’s cup of tea??

Because at the end of the day, it doesn’t have to appeal to everyone. It just has to speak to someone!!

Sometimes the best pieces come from the ideas that make you think “hhmmm.. this might be a little crazy” but then you do it anyway. 🤷‍♀️

It's sanding day!!! And apparently after 11 YEARS of flipping furniture, I’ve finally decided it might be a good idea to protect my lungs. 😂🙈 I can honestly say I’ve probably used this dust mask a handful of times over the years… but hey, better late than never! 😅

So here’s to making better choices going forward.. 😉

A little throwback to one of my ALL TIME labor of love pieces 🌸🤍

This dresser was a PROJECTTT to say the least. 😅 every single one of those clay flowers was made and placed by hand, and let me tell you… it was TEDIOUS. 😂🙈
But looking back at it now, I’d do it all over again (and MAY do it again) because the end result was 100% worth every minute. There’s just something so special about creating a piece that is completely one of a kind.

A little reminder of why I fell in love with furniture flipping in the first place. 🥰✨

I just finished up this adorable little 3 piece set and HAD to share it will you all! This sweet bedroom set wasn’t originally a true set.. the pieces came from different places and weren’t made to go together.. But after a little love, patience and refinishing, you’d never know it. 🤎

The matching wood tones, simple black k***s and those little details make these three pieces look like they were meant to be together all along!!

I absolutely love when a few mismatched pieces get a second chance and somehow become the perfect little trio. 🥰
