I loved this dresser as soon as I saw it on FBMP but there were a few areas on it that needed attention so I opted to paint the majority of it but left some natural walnut showing. It came with only one end table but I found its matching twin so they are next up and will be refinished in a similar manner.

This leggy end table set has been refreshed with a custom stain on the top and a true neutral black on the body and drawers. New antique brass hardware has been ordered and new drawer liners on the top drawers.

Renner 765 paint in SW Tricorn Black

One of the goals on my refinishing bucket list this year was to convert a desk into nightstands, this is my second set now and I love them. They are painted in BM Pale Oak with a wash on the drawers.

This Ethan Allan set, some say end tables while others call them dressers, were too big for a group shot so we had to do some photoshopping…hence the black background. The tops and bases were sanded to raw and given a wash to lighten them up. BM Balboa Mist in Renner 765 paint.

From oversized feet to dated stain, we took this set of oversized Pier 1 end tables to modern and light. A new custom red oak base was made and white washed to blend perfectly with the new Balboa Mist paint.

Please double check your dimensions as these are HUGE, perfect for King size bed or a high bed.

Here’s a more detailed look at the end table set. They are quite large, great for beside a king or queen bed. The colour is Athenian black by Annie Sloan and sealed with a clear wax. The top is clear coated with 3 coats of polyurethane. Matte black hardware has been added as well as a some distressing.

Dimensions are 22.5w x 29h x 17d.

We all need help once in a while, what harm can a little facelift do. This table came to us with scratches and a few water rings but no more. We striped the top down and did a stain match and she’s good to go home.
