Today owned and managed by Umar Ahmed, Howard’s was originally founded in JuIy 1951, by Oakville born Charles Franklin Howard. He established a cabinetmaking and refinishing business on Pine Avenue called Howard’s for Finer Woodworkers. Two years later, he moved to newly built quarters on Shepherd Avenue in order to accommodate the ever growing clientele and demand for fine furniture refinishing.

We dont just do furniture, we also do wood trim for classic and exotic cars. Over the years, we've done everything from Jags to Triumphs and Ferraris. For this Jag, we re-veneered the centre console, dashboard, A/C and door trim in a mappa burl veneer and finished in a high gloss mirror finish burgundy.

3- Cut off a small piece and glue it on to the break.
4- Trim it down with a handsaw or plane, and then sand smooth.
5- Finish
