This vintage table and tray pairing blends
French country charm and rustic character. With its distressed Shabby chic finish and the trays intricately carved details and vintage bird motif, this setup brings nostalgic warmth to a compact study. I used antique white acrylic paint, stencil, Artisan Enhancements scumble, size, gold foil for small detail on the legs and gloss and matte top cost sealer.

Styling & Placement
This table thrives in eclectic, maximalist, or transitional spaces. It pairs beautifully with solid-coloured white furniture to ensure the painted tiger pattern remains the star of the room. The legs and skirt are pewter leafed and antiqued with a cognac glaze. I used an acrylic paint, tiger stencil, Artisan Enhancements crackle tex, scumble, size, pewter foil, matte and gloss top coat sealer.

This ethereal painting called "Mermaids Garden" captures a serene, sun-dappled underwater sanctuary teeming with magical light. Translucent, waving seaweed sways gently in the turquoise currents, while hundreds of iridescent, floating bubbles and seaweed reflect shimmering shafts of light, giving the underwater garden an enchanted, dreamlike mermaids garden. I used acrylic paint, Artisan Enhancements crackle tex, scumble and gloss top coat sealer.

This vintage French console table is a magnificent statement piece, featuring a soft French blue painted finish and delicate, luminous gold leaf accents.
Softly antiqued to highlight its ornate carvings, it pairs perfectly with two matching grand French-style chairs that I also painted for a cohesive, elegant aesthetic. I used Artisan Enhancements scumble, size, gold foil, matte and gloss top coat sealer.

The Sea Siren: A captivating but dangerous creature sits astride the shark with effortless grace. Her skin has an ethereal, iridescent sheen that glows against the dark water. The Shark a massive, ancient predator serves as her mount. Its black, glassy eye reflects a glint of light, showing absolute focus as it glides under the sirens control. The Ominous Net a towering wall of heavy, blackened h**p net drifts with a ghostly silhouette. I used acrylic paint, Artisan Enhancements scumble and matte top coat sealer.

This delightful, thrift-store-find jewellery box features a unique, six-sided hexagonal shape. Painted in a soft French grey with gentle distressing and adorned with delicate painted blue birds, it perfectly captures the quintessential, romantic charm of shabby chic and French country decor. I used acrylic paints, Swarovski crystals for the centre of pink flowers and Birds Eye, Artisan Enhancements scumble and matte top coat sealer

This thrift found antique-style wall cabinet features a timeworn aesthetic, combining French country romance with cottage-core charm. Its rustic, heavily distressed finish gives the piece a nostalgic, flea-market find appearance that perfectly suits shabby chic or Parisian-inspired decor. I used white paint, vintage rabbit print, Artisan Enhancements scumble, and matte top coat sealer.

This old vintage desk, painted in a soft, antiqued putty, serves as a stunning potting station. Softly distressed edges reveal whispers of warm wood beneath, while its practical surface and drawers provide the perfect rustic workspace for curating and potting lush, vibrant flora in a bright, sunlit solarium. I used acrylic paint, Artisan Enhancements scumble and matte top coat sealer.

TBT when I played the captain of the Titanic in a TV documentary. These were taken at my costume fitting, I made the mistake of wearing orange underpants, and was advised not to wear them for filming lol!
