Every September 11th, we remember that morning in New York like it was yesterday. We moved to New York in 1999 and lived there for 10 years. We were students studying Fashion Design and Accessories Design, rushing to school that morning because we had a computer test. We were only a few blocks away when we saw the Twin Towers burning. We couldnāt understand what we were witnessing. The fear, the confusion, the devastation and the helplessness of that day are things we will never forget. 25 years later, itās still difficult to wrap our heads around what we saw and what so many people endured. We think of the thousands of lives lost, the families who lost loved ones, the firefighters and first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless people who risked their own lives trying to save others. In the days that followed, New Yorkers came together in a way we will always remember. These photos were taken by us 25 years ago in Union Square, where people gathered to grieve, pray, leave messages, hold one another and somehow try to find hope in the middle of so much heartbreak. Today weāre sending all our love to everyone who lost someone on September 11th, and to the city that was our home and will forever hold such a huge piece of our hearts. We will never ever forget.

Wow! Happy five months Mickey Rain! š¶š¼š§øš¼ My sweetest little love, my whole heart in one chunky chunk baby! What an incredible ride itās already been. And somehow weāre already getting close to solids?! No waaaay! If anyone has any good tips, please let me know! Or the best food to start with, from your experience ā¤ļøš„° Wowow!!!
Life in plastic, lunch was fantastic! šš š We hit up the Malibu Barbie CafĆ© with our parents and baby Mickey for a very pink family date Rana Beckerman Bob Beckerman Malibu Barbie Cafe ! š There was 70ās vibes, pink hummus for Mama Bear, avocado toast, mocktails, Barbie sundaes, a super cute gift shopā¦ and Mickey along for his very first Barbie moment! š¼ š“š¦We didnāt go roller skating because Cailliās had four ankle surgeries, and a recent C-section, and Sam has broken both her feet in the past. But if youāre brave enough, it looks fun! Lol! The food however was sooo delish!

It was 1996 all over again š„¹ā¤ļø Same camp girls, same camp boys, same laughs, same songsā¦ and somehow after all these years, the same incredible sisterhood! Love uuuuu! We all made our way back to CWP for one epic night to celebrate the 70th Anniversary! Some of us drove in, flew in, and one of us even flew in on his own plane āļøāļøWe jumped in the lake, slept in bunk beds, sang camp songs on the beach, ripped apart challah in the mess hall, and reminisced about the good olā days. The C.I.T.s of ā96 are all grown up now, but somehow we picked up right where we left off. Itās crazy how you can go back to a place you havenāt been in so long and suddenly feel 16 years old againā¦like no time has passed at all. It was wild! So much has changed since 1996, but one thing hasnāt, weāre always there for each other. Thatās the magic of camp friendsā¦ they become family, and this kind of sisterhood lasts forever. ā¤ļø Happy 70 years Camp White Pine!
