Seeing good furniture find its way into another home still feels special to us. It happens because people care about what happens to the things they no longer need and about the neighbours who could use them.

The Sustainability Circle brings more people into that work and helps us keep building on it. If you’d like to be part of what comes next for Furnish Forward, join through the link in our bio. 💚

An orange shirt can remind us to pause. The stories behind it deserve more than one day of our attention.

Today, we invite you to spend time with Indigenous voices and resources, and to keep listening and learning beyond September 30. 🧡

A home begins to feel different when there is somewhere to rest, share a meal or simply sit together.

For many people beginning a new chapter, those everyday comforts can feel out of reach. The Sustainability Circle is a way for our community to stand beside them and make that transition feel a little less overwhelming.

Because creating a sense of home should never be something a person has to do alone. 💚

Our first Annual Sustainability Report is here. 🌱

Full Circle tells the story of Furnish Forward’s first year: the furniture we rescued, the homes we helped furnish, and what we learned along the way.

Together, we saved 193 furniture items, diverted 8,685 kg from landfill, and supported 27 households. Behind every number is a piece of furniture given another life and a person making a home.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this first year possible. 💚

Moving into a home is an important beginning, but making it feel settled can take time.

Having a comfortable place to rest, share meals and spend time together can bring routine, comfort and a sense of belonging.

If furniture costs are making that difficult for you or someone you know, please reach out. Our team will guide you through the process with care and respect. 💚
