Our sawmill business an artisan store front is located between 172 & 194 Cemetery Road Virden Manitoba & is housed in an 1883 built CPR 🚂 freight shed we have carefully renovated.

Open a store they said it will be fun they said .... and it is !!! Who wouldn't want to be up at 6 AM of a long weekend designing fall cards? I worked all day in the store. Had to price fall stuff after we closed. Garth went back to the house made supper and brought it out to me. He is a keeper. Might need to cut his portions down a titch ... 🤣 ... but a good good man. ♥️♥️♥️

she has three of their beds. How she suffers ... not !!! Spoiled rotten but so cute.

Garth has been very busy this weekend. The woodshop called he answered. As always creating with local hardwoods from our own sawmill's wares. Can't get more Canadian made than that. Sawdust is man glitter.

The best way to start is just to start ... as any small business owner will tell you. We dare to dare. Taking our 1883 built Canadian Railway Freight Shed that no one wanted. Garth bought her for the price of moving her off the Beaver Lumber Lot. Over 100 years of service to the community and she was forgotten. Most folks don't even realize what she represents. A corner stone of our community with wares flowing in and out of Virden & district. But we know her worth. All 2000 square feet of her brought back to life repaired and revered. Our past is our future. Our old girl is looking good except for our current inventory chaos.

Saturday Night ... Date Night ... we are living wild 🤪.
