Alberta is winning by pushing back and standing our ground.

For years Ottawa’s so called “nine bad laws” threatened our jobs, investment, our ability to develop world class energy, and Albertans livelihoods.

After years of advocacy, and months of negotiations the federal government have reversed the vast majority of those destructive policies and agreed to recognize a new Indigenous co-owned oil pipeline to the Northwest coast as a project of national interest. The only regulation outstanding that needs to be revamped is the labelling of plastics as toxic rule.

This is a major victory for our workers, our communities and for a stronger Canadian economy. We will keep working with Ottawa where we can, and pushing back where we must, until every remaining barrier is gone and Alberta energy is free to power this country for generations to come.
