Eifel Baptist Church Memories

28/02/2026

Today we attended the memorial service for Grace Buford in Oxford, AL. Her son, Tony led the service. It was great seeing some of our Eifel Baptist Chuch family members. Paula Buford Melvin, Adrian Barcomb, Steve & Deborah Whitehead, Stephani Whitehead Henson and her husband John, Carl & Janelle Moore, Chris Crauthers, Jeff & Bonnie Jorzig and myself, Tim Chick and my wife Leesa. Our Eifel family traveled from Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Alabama to attend her service.

For those who haven’t heard the sad news, Grace Buford went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning. Please keep Paula, Tony, Janet and the whole family in your prayers.

Last month my wife and I were blessed to have dinner with Grace Buford and Paula Buford Melvin in Oxford, AL. It was fun reminiscing about our years at Eifel.
