It was an honor to welcome some very special guests yesterday. The President of the Republic of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis, visited our boatyard along with his delegation. We had the chance to showcase our work and discuss our progress and future outlook. A big thank you from the entire Alunaut team for such an inspiring visit!

The Alunaut team is proud to confirm the delivery of a total of six bespoke Alunaut A7 RIB G3D vessel and trailer combinations.

The deliveries included three complete sets for the Wasserschutzpolizei Schleswig-Holstein and three similar sets for the Wasserschutzpolizei Hamburg. Each boat is fitted with a custom-tailored TIKI BP2500-DRBE boat trailer.

We've received very positive feedback from both German police forces. Hearing about our customers' satisfaction confirms the quality of our work, and we are delighted to have these important agencies join the Alunaut family.

Our tailored Alunaut A7 FRBs were signed to active duty today.

Officiële overdracht Alunaut aan Koninklijke Marine, Koninklijke Marechaussee en The Belgian Navy ⚓️ Commando Materieel en IT (COMMIT) was samen met Directie Materiële Instandhouding (DMI) verantwoordelijk voor de verwerving van de boten. 🤝 Vandaag droeg COMMIT officieel 20 zogeheten Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB’s) en 6 trailers over aan de eindgebruikers. Twaalf zijn er voor de marine, zes boten en zes trailers zijn voor de marechaussee en er zijn twee RHIB’s bestemd voor de Belgische marine. De firma Alunaut uit Estland levert het nieuwe materieel. Deze kleine, wendbare en snelle motorboten zijn breed inzetbaar. Bij de marine worden ze onder meer vanaf marineschepen ingezet bij anti-drugsoperaties. Ook voor rivieroperaties of om naar verdachte schepen te varen en daar aan boord te gaan, zet de marine ze in. Het meest worden ze gebruikt voor verplaatsing van materieel en personeel. De marechaussee gebruikt de boten om andere schepen te boarden en te controleren en voert er patrouilles mee uit. Hoe ze verschillen ten opzichte van hun voorganger? 💡 De boten zijn uitgerust met uitgebreidere navigatie- en communicatieapparatuur en een extra inventaris om in noodgevallen te kunnen overleven op zee. Daarnaast zijn de boten nu ook civiel gecertificeerd als Life Saving Appliance en daarmee geschikt als reddingsboot. De marechaussee zal direct gebruikmaken van de boten. De marine gaat er gefaseerd mee aan de slag.
