💡 Apply now to participate in COSIMENA-Funded Workshop “Towards Branching and Multitone Learning for Flexible and Inclusive Higher Education” (Deadline: 23 May 2026)

The DAAD Regional Office Cairo, within the framework of its project Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa (COSIMENA), and in cooperation with SRH University Heidelberg and Ain Shams University, invites academics, researchers, and higher education professionals to apply for the first workshop of the COSIMENA event series:

“Towards Branching and Multitone Learning for Flexible and Inclusive Higher Education”, with the workshop theme: “Rethink Inclusion: From Ideas to Research Questions and Re-Design.”

🧠The workshop explores how flexible, inclusive, and student-centred learning pathways can be designed within regular higher education programmes. It brings together experts and participants from Germany, Egypt, and the wider MENA region to discuss branching and multitone learning as an emerging approach for Future higher education.

📚The workshop will focus on curriculum design, accreditation, competence-based assessment, student-centred learning, and flexible learning paths that support diverse student needs without creating separate specific or isolated academic programmes.

🎯 What to expect:

🔹 Expert inputs from German and Egyptian higher education perspectives.
🔹 Discussions on inclusive curriculum design and flexible learning pathways.

١٢ مايو.. ندوة تعريفية ببرامج ومنح هيئة الفولبرايت بكلية الهندسة جامعة عين شمس

في إطار دعم التبادل التعليمي والثقافي وتعزيز فرص التواصل الأكاديمي الدولي، وتحت رعاية الأستاذ الدكتور محمد ضياء زين العابدين، رئيس جامعة عين شمس، والأستاذة الدكتورة أماني أسامة كامل، نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، وبالتعاون مع قطاع العلاقات الدولية والتعاون الأكاديمي، تستضيف كلية الهندسة بجامعة عين شمس ندوة تعريفية، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ١٢ مايو الجاري الساعة ١٢ ظهرًا.

وتهدف الندوة إلى تعريف طلاب الدراسات العليا وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والخريجين ببرامج هيئة فولبرايت، مع تقديم عرض شامل لكافة تفاصيل التقديم، وشروط الالتحاق، والفرص المتاحة للدراسة والبحث العلمي والتدريب المهني بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بما يسهم في توسيع آفاق المشاركين ودعم مسيرتهم الأكاديمية والمهنية.

وفي هذا السياق، أعلنت الهيئة عن فتح باب التقديم لبرامج فولبرايت للعام الأكاديمي ٢٠٢٧–٢٠٢٨، والتي تستهدف الطلاب والأساتذة المصريين في مختلف التخصصات الأدبية والعلمية، إلى جانب برامج مخصصة للخبراء والأساتذة الأمريكيين، في إطار تعزيز التبادل العلمي ونقل الخبرات.

ويُذكر أن هيئة فولبرايت تُعد هيئة مصرية أمريكية أُنشئت بموجب اتفاقية تعاون بين حكومتي البلدين عام ١٩٤٩، وقد كرّست على مدار أكثر من خمسة وسبعين عامًا جهودها لتعزيز التبادل التعليمي والثقافي، بما يدعم جسور التواصل والتفاهم المشترك بين الشعبين.
