Warm timber surfaces and sculptural slatted ceilings establish a strong architectural language, balanced by natural stone, reflective finishes, and geometric marble flooring. Layered pendant lighting follows the circulation and dining zones, reinforcing the spatial rhythm while creating a more intimate scale within the generous volume.

Angular portals and mirrored surfaces frame views through the restaurant, extending sightlines and adding depth, while integrated planting softens the geometry and introduces a natural counterpoint to the darker material palette.

Every element — from the ceiling grid and custom lighting to the floor transitions, bar, and central landscape feature — works as part of one continuous composition, guiding movement through the space while giving each dining zone its own identity.

A restaurant designed not only around how it looks, but around how the architecture is experienced.

Architecture rooted in heritage, reinterpreted for contemporary dining.

Designed for an Oriental Egyptian restaurant, the space was conceived around the client’s vision of creating a refined, luxury dining experience while maintaining a connection to the cultural identity behind the cuisine.

The architectural language draws from Islamic architecture without directly replicating it. Pointed arches and geometric proportions are abstracted into clean contemporary forms, while rhythmic timber ceiling elements reinterpret the repetition and craftsmanship characteristic of traditional Islamic interiors.

A restrained palette of black, warm timber, marble and textured white surfaces establishes a sophisticated backdrop. Strong linear geometry across the flooring contrasts with the softer curves of the furniture and arches, creating a balance between structure and comfort.

The result is a dialogue between heritage and modernity — an Egyptian dining experience expressed through a contemporary architectural language.

Warm walnut defines the architectural rhythm, while expressive marble cuts through the space as a continuous element. Deep red accents interrupt the neutral palette, creating moments of contrast without competing with the composition.
