“The First” is a sci-fi animated short by Portuguese filmmaker Tiago Iúri. Set in a devastated world, the story follows a solitary survivor trapped inside a silent house, navigating the echoes of a shattered Earth.

A visually atmospheric exploration of isolation, survival, and human resilience — blending minimalism, emotion, and haunting worldbuilding.

And a reminder: today, there are hundreds of accessible tools that allow creators to transform ideas into ambitious animated stories — even from a mobile device. Creativity no longer depends on big budgets, but on vision, experimentation, and the courage to create.
