These dining chairs arrived with flaking leather that, while the frames were solid, had seen better days. Rather than replacing the chairs, the customer chose to invest in quality refurbishment.

We completely stripped and recovered each chair using a neutral Ferrara fabric from Independent Fabric Suppliers on the seat and front, paired with a striking Linwood fabric on the back.

The finished result is elegant, individual and built to provide many more years of use.

It was a pleasure to create a bespoke loose cover for this elegant small sofa, complete with luxurious new feather cushions from The Feather Company.
We also had the opportunity to recover this unusual gout stool, updating the fabric in the family tartan, while preserving its character and charm.
A lovely project combining practicality, comfort, and traditional craftsmanship.

Originally from Enfield, Gerry had a keen eye for quality furniture and a genuine talent for furniture restoration. His appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design lives on in this beautiful Holland & Sons pie crust chair.
This piece was lovingly restored in honour of both the chair’s history and the family’s connection to it.

Vikki brought us her grandmother’s much-loved chair, featuring a hand-sewn tapestry seat. Time had taken its toll, and the fabric was becoming too fragile to remain in everyday use.

We reupholstered the chair in a rich olive velvet from finished with a carefully selected trim

To preserve the history of the piece, the tapestry has been repurposed into a cushion—allowing it to be enjoyed without further wear. 🌿
