Seems to be turning into a yearly thing now🤦🏼‍♀️ the boys are always scuffing the knees on their trousers and they are such awkward sizes I thought why not💁🏼‍♀️ Atleast I know these fit them perfectly around the waist😂

Replacing the white bows with grey ones, using the offcuts from the bridesmaids alterations to get the perfect shade!

I added a belt to the waistband of the daughter of the bride's dress so she can match her mam, all requested by the daughter, how adorable is that?🥺

These trouser legs were two different lengths and just bugged me as they didn't sit right, so my son never wears them! Now he can wear them no problem 🙏

Having slim boys is so hard when it comes to buying clothes (especially trousers), they're either too baggy and fall down or the length is too short.. seeing as we're going to Spain soon I thought I'd improvise and turn an old pair of worn jeans into shorts..he now has a pair that will fit comfortably around the waist and also gets more use out of the trousers,, Win win!🙌

just wanted to post a little update as I know I don't tend to post much on here. (I will do one day, honest🙈)
I am still currently doing alterations and sewing when I can but I don't have as much time as I would like atm with my youngest still only in crèche 2 and a half hours a day, this will also be changing before long so I will have a lot more time to keep up with messages and take on more projects.
I have mostly been enjoying making personalised gifts for family atm and experimenting with new patterns to make myself some clothes👗

I made a blanket for my nan on her 70th birthday🥰
I used her great grandchildren's hands to make flowers as a personal touch, a way of remembering just how small they all were on her special day!

With homeschooling, being pregnant and then having a baby during lockdown, I haven't sewn as much as I would have liked too. Making these helped me remember how much I enjoy it! Can't wait to start making new things when my new work space is up and ready!🙌
