Well today this is off to Manchester university. Well it’s going into student accommodation 🙈. On that note, Iv give it several costs of tuff top coat for that added protection.
The colours don’t show as well in the photo but it’s a more of a salmon pick and mustard against the original light oak. I mixed these colours from what I had available when I started them. Hottie and Mcfee and a bit of white to lift it,for the sides and stripes. Then hot as mustard with a touch of pickle on the centre strip.
The original handles were in great condition so just give them a light coat of tuf top coat with gold Frencheen.
I fully hand sanded everything to get the oak drawer fronts and top to reveal this lovely oak..
Hope you like it now it’s finished.

Something a bit different for me
Iv not painted for a while due to one thing and another. Than I was asked by a client if i could do them some drawers. I had these so yesterday i decided i just need to just start. I didn’t have my normal array of open tins of Frenchic at my disposal so i had to see what was left in my workshop at home. All i could find was Mcfee, hottie, pickle and mustard.. so I did a bit of mixing and came up with this. Bit different to my normal style. Just need to put handles back on.

We will be open tomorrow from 10 till 4 and the rest of the Easter break
