Handmade leather bags and accessories made from the finest leather, simple and functional pieces that are skillfully designed and made with great attention to detail. Inspired by the natural qualities of leather hide I use this as the basis for my work. The leather I use are generally offcuts from the furniture industry and I try to use salvaged and found items turning them into beautiful details. Most can be made to order and enquiries for commissions are welcome, please just ask.

Repairs probably account for about 20% of my work, and literally all sorts come through the door. Sometimes it takes a bit of head scratching and thinking outside the box, but a relatively simple one this for gun slip, just a re-stitch to the nose, a repair to the strap and it's ready for the season ahead.

As usual Christmas has caught up with me already, and I'm only about a zillionth of a way through making stock. Some new leather journals and cardholders made todayare off to Makers Guild Wales this weekend ready for the opening of the Christmas Show on 6th Nov. I have a pile of uploading to do to the online shop, and somewhere along the line prep for annual Open Studio, a little heads up that this will be on Saturday 28th Nov. Phew, so much to do ans so little time!

My walking foot has been on stop for a couple of weeks due to a floppy foot ailment (not a technical term 🤷‍♀️) but a fabulous 86 year old sewing machine repair man has just been out and serviced all 3 machines. 3 hours later and lots of talking and tea and we're good to go again! These machines very often have a mind of their own so it was good to pick his brains and pick up a bit more knowledge on how to keep them running sweetly, when swearing doesn't work.

This well loved and well used school satchel was literally falling apart at the seams when it came in for a makeover. A couple of repairs, a relacement strap, a total re-stitch (about a days work) and it's back to school!

A pair of dinky made to measure collars in some lovely supple veg tanned leather were the results on this weekends workshop. A lovely way to spend a mother & daughter day. The last two workshop dates booked in this year are 27th September and 18th October so time is running out to use up those vouchers.
