The Bed Post We've over 35 years experience and are passionate about ensuring you get the best nights sleep! Thinking of visiting us?

Our flagship store is located in Tower Retail Park Crayford with many other stores in the surrounding areas, including Petts Wood, Sidcup, Sevenoaks & Reigate. The Bed Post opened for business in April 1987 in a modest showroom in Lee Green and has steadily grown, moving from there into showrooms in Sidcup, Eltham and in 1999 our 10,000 square foot flagship retail park showroom & warehouse in Crayford. In 2007 another showroom was added to the chain in Dunton Green, Sevenoaks. During our 35+ year history we have developed rapidly supplying beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture to our customers all over the South East for both contract and retail. This growth has been achieved largely by way of personal recommendation from satisfied customers who have spread the word. The reason for that is our emphasis on customer service and care, something for which we were rewarded in 2007 by the London borough of Bexley who awarded us the accolade of ‘retailer of the year’ in recognition of just those qualities. In 2024 we were announced as the Large Retail Champion of the Year at the National Bed Federation (NBF) Bed Industry Awards. To ensure exceptional value for money we are constantly checking our prices against local retailers and online stores and as you might expect we offer a price promise, simply to match any other price quoted on any bed or mattress.

🤍 A huge THANK YOU, Reigate! 🤍

Since announcing that our Reigate store will be closing its doors in November, we’ve been absolutely blown away by the number of local people who have popped in to see us and support our family business.

So many beds, mattresses and pieces of furniture found new homes over the weekend — and lots of them will be heading out on our delivery vans to homes around Reigate this week! 🛏️🚚

Our Reigate Closing Down Sale is still very much ON, with display models, mattresses, bed frames, headboards and clearance stock all reduced.

And as stock is selling quickly, if you’ve spotted something in the window or have been meaning to pop in, don’t leave it too long — once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Thank you, Reigate — we’d love to see you before we go. 🤍

Buying a new bed is an investment in your sleep — so where you buy it from matters too. 🛏️

In this reel, Ollie explains why choosing an established, reputable bed retailer can make such a difference — from getting the right advice in the first place, to knowing there’s someone there to help if you need support after your purchase.

With 38 years in the bed industry, we’ve seen a lot change… but good advice, quality products and proper customer service will always matter. ❤️

Worth a watch if you’re thinking about buying a new bed or mattress

Something is happening at The Bed Post Reigate… 👀

We’ve closed our doors for a few days while we prepare for something rather big.

We’re not quite ready to tell you everything just yet…

But if you’ve been thinking about a new bed or mattress, you might want to keep an eye on this page. 👀

Why Harrison Spinks? 🛏️🇬🇧

There’s a reason we’ve been selling Harrison Spinks beds for over 30 years…

And we’ll let Ollie explain why! 👆

When you’ve worked with a manufacturer for that long, you get to know their products pretty well. We know how they’re made, what makes them different and, most importantly, who they’re right for.

Harrison Spinks are a British, family-owned bed maker with an incredible approach to craftsmanship, natural materials and comfort — and they’ve been a huge part of The Bed Post story for more than three decades.

So if you’ve ever wondered what makes a Harrison Spinks mattress a little bit special… Ollie’s got you covered. 🎥

Pop into one of our stores and try one for yourself — because we can talk about mattresses all day, but nothing beats actually lying on one! 😂🛏️

We’re curious… when did you last actually shop for a mattress? 🛏️

Because apparently we’re quite good at putting it off. 😂

We’ll replace our phones, sofas, cars, TVs… meanwhile the mattress we spend around 8 hours a night on is hanging on for dear life.

So be honest — how old is yours? 👀

And if the answer is “I’d rather not say”… yesterday’s video might be worth a watch. 😂

No pressure. No awkward sales pitch. Just good advice and plenty of beds to try. ❤️
