2020 I had the good fortune to designed and made in my Norfolk workshop two tables for HMS Queen Elizabeth.
The larger being 6m x 1.6m, and the smaller 2m x 1m. The tops and steel frame work beneath all had to be in section for access to final location.

This one goes back some years. When thing about something small and inexpensive. Well I thick as children growing up in the sixties we all seem to have those wooden pencil boxes. I still had mine from my childhood days on the underside of the lid is still my early attempts of writing my name. So over the years many have been made in various timbers.

Now for something completely different. As well as designing; making joinery and furniture for more years than I care to remember. I have also had a hand working with steel fabrication companies to produce construction drawings for staircases. I am in awe the of fitters on site handing such large heave pieces of steel.

Legs – American White Oak. Finish – Bleached and limed wax.

Unit – Ziricote veneer. Finish Pale French polish. Back American White Oak
veneer. Finish – Bleached and limed wax.

Drawers - Fronts ; . American White Oak. Finish – Bleached and limed wax.
Handle detail ; Wenga.
Drawer internal ; Maple solid polish finish. Ziricote veneer oil and wax
finish .

One pair of Oak doors. Client supplied stain glass panels so this was a case of designing for panels which also fitted existing opening.
