Cosy Season is well and truly upon us 🍂🍁😄

Snuggle up with a duck feather pumpkin cushion (bonus - this one won’t go all gooey after being inside for 2 days 😅) and light a candle to soften the blow of the darker nights creeping in!

Day 2 at Goodwood Revival is GO! As well as my teacup candles, I’ve got new things I’ve made especially for this event:

- French / fondant fancy candles
- air fresheners with classic cars and teacups
- alloy wheel candles (the treads and alloys match the cars featured in the air fresheners 😉)
- tyre pouffe - put your tootsies up on a pair of repurposed tyres to recoup your energy sustainably!

Feeling tyred??? Put your feet up 😉

My workshop is next door to a garage, so I can see firsthand how many tyres that have reached the end of their useable life exist. Times that by the number of vehicles on the road, and we have A LOT of tyres…

It got me thinking - what happens to tyres once they are no longer roadworthy? So I fell down a rabbit hole and discovered that, along with getting ground down to be used in playgrounds and such like, far too many of them end up being shipped to third world countries to be burned after the public are reassured they will be “recycled”.

Me being me, I gave them a really good clean and made them into a pouffe! With some foam and velvet fabric, something that would otherwise be billed as being found in Manky Frankie’s hoose is luxurious and in keeping with modern interiors.

These are available to order and offer a sustainable and comfortable solution to relaxing while knowing you’re doing something good for the environment 🥰

Absolutely BUZZING for Goodwood Revival in 2 weeks time 🏁😁

I will be there with my teacup candles, upcycled steamer trunk tables, and my new upholstered pouffes made from tyres that have reached the end of their useable life (and may otherwise have headed to burn in a third world country). There are other surprises too, so stay tuned to see some pics!
