Really pleased to introduce the Cairn Drinks Tray — the first piece in our new Cairn collection of handcrafted accessories and gifts.

Handcrafted in Edinburgh from solid American black walnut, with solid brass spline corners and cut-through handles, the Cairn Drinks Tray is designed to sit on a coffee table, ottoman, sideboard or drinks cabinet and bring a quiet order to whatever surface it occupies.

At 425mm square and 75mm deep it's generously proportioned — comfortably holding a decanter, glasses and a candle. It's also available in a range of other hardwoods and can be made to your own dimensions.

Earlier this year, a client asked us to be make a luxury storage rack to house three golf bags.

So we did!

Each upright bay is divided by turned spindles and balusters that echo the rhythm of a fine staircase — structured, purposeful, unmistakably crafted.

Neat, removable bars at the front slide up and out, so bags glide in and out without a single snagged strap — form and function, considered in equal measure.

All handcrafted locally from premium oak.

We’ve even added a neat ball and tee motif on the central panel to make it truly one of a kind!

Some furniture fulfils a function. Ours becomes part of your story.

Often we get asked to craft a piece to complement a client’s existing furniture.

Here the challenge was to create a design which echoed a period console table (see second image), which had a sweeping curve along its front edge.

The result is the newly-coined Telfer Coffee Table.

Handcrafted from mahogany and stained to tie in with console table and other pieces, it features sweeping serpentine curves along its front and back edges and elegant tapered legs.

As promised, here’s a photo of the Mantenere desk.

It was a satisfying project to create a desk incorporating the design elements of the bookcase. Self praise is no recommendation but I think it works well.

Really pleased to introduce the latest addition to the Glencairn Furniture collection — the Winzer Dining Bench.

Designed as a companion to our Winzer Dining Chair, it shares the same distinctive spindles, hand-sculpted legs and solid hardwood frame — but in a generously proportioned bench that seats two to three comfortably.

Available upholstered in Bute Fabric or premium Italian leather, and in a range of hardwoods including oak, walnut, mahogany, cherry and ash.

It works beautifully as a set with the Winzer chair, but equally well alongside any dining table. Really happy with how it’s come out.

Follow the link below to find out more — and feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss a bespoke version tailored to your own dimensions or timber choice.
