Often we get asked to craft a piece to complement a client’s existing furniture.

Here the challenge was to create a design which echoed a period console table (see second image), which had a sweeping curve along its front edge.

The result is the newly-coined Telfer Coffee Table.

Handcrafted from mahogany and stained to tie in with console table and other pieces, it features sweeping serpentine curves along its front and back edges and elegant tapered legs.

As promised, here’s a photo of the Mantenere desk.

It was a satisfying project to create a desk incorporating the design elements of the bookcase. Self praise is no recommendation but I think it works well.

Handcrafted in solid oak to the client’s exact requirements, it’s set for his home office where it will be joined by a writing desk in the same Mantenere style.

Really pleased to introduce the latest addition to the Glencairn Furniture collection — the Winzer Dining Bench.

Designed as a companion to our Winzer Dining Chair, it shares the same distinctive spindles, hand-sculpted legs and solid hardwood frame — but in a generously proportioned bench that seats two to three comfortably.

Available upholstered in Bute Fabric or premium Italian leather, and in a range of hardwoods including oak, walnut, mahogany, cherry and ash.

It works beautifully as a set with the Winzer chair, but equally well alongside any dining table. Really happy with how it’s come out.
