Ending the week on a high - we picked up another new Luton van today, adding one more to the fleet just in time for the weekend!

With more office refits and furniture installs on the schedule than ever, having extra capacity means we can take on larger projects and keep our install teams moving without delays.

Huge thanks to our clients and hard-working crew for keeping us growing!

We've been a bit quiet on here lately, but that's definitely not because we've been quiet at work!

The last few months have been non-stop. We've got multiple projects on the go every day, the warehouse is bursting at the seams, and the team have been putting in some serious effort to keep everything moving.

As a family business, it's great to see how busy things are. We're lucky to have a hardworking team who always pull together, whether it's early starts, long days, or getting projects over the line when the pressure's on.

This was our 18-tonner spotted out on Wednesday, just another day on the road helping us keep up with demand.

A huge thank you to all our customers, both new and old, for keeping us busy and trusting us with your projects. We don't always get time to post what we're up to, but we'll try and share a bit more of what goes on behind the scenes.

Right, enough talking... there's a lorry waiting to be unloaded outside! 💪

5 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE: FORS GOLD & SILVER RETAINED! 🏆🚛

We are thrilled to announce that Harris Installation Services Ltd has officially passed our FORS Gold and Silver audits for the 5th year running!

Achieving the Gold level—the highest accreditation possible—demonstrates our unwavering commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. This milestone isn't just about a certificate; it’s about our dedication to leading the way in the transport and installation industry.

What’s New? Keeping Up with FORS Version 7.1 The industry never stands still, and neither do we. This year, we’ve successfully transitioned to the new FORS Standard Version 7.1, implementing several key updates to our operations:

Decarbonisation Strategy: We have implemented a formal strategy to reduce our carbon footprint and move toward a greener fleet.

Enhanced Safety Tech: Our fleet continues to meet the latest requirements for vulnerable road user safety, including advanced camera systems and blind-spot vision aids.

Stricter Training Standards: We’ve removed training "tolerances," ensuring 100% of our drivers are fully trained in the latest safety and environmental e-learning modules.

Fleet Transition Planning: We’ve formalised our plans for future vehicle replacements to ensure we remain at the forefront of low-emission technology.

A massive thank you to our incredible team of drivers and office staff whose hard work keeps us operating at the "Gold Standard" every single day!

🚚 Lockers, Crates & a Lot of Lifting: TfL Edition

We’ve just wrapped up a big move for a TfL site - relocating a large number of empty lockers and pre-filled crates from one location to another. Sounds simple? It wasn’t! But when you’ve got the right people (and the right-sized trucks), it looks easy!

🔨 Our installation crew handled the on-site work like pros, lifting, shifting and stacking like it was a sport.
🚛Backed by the brilliant team at Harris Containers , who rolled in with the larger vehicles and experienced drivers to help us move more in fewer trips.

The perks of working together?
✅ Fewer journeys = lower costs and fewer emissions
✅ Nothing left behind (except maybe a few aching backs)
✅ Seamless teamwork = happy client

It’s not just about muscle - it’s about smart planning, efficient logistics, and the odd caffeine-fuelled strategy chat in the back of the van.

Big thanks to everyone involved, top work across both sides of the business 👏.
