A Red weather warning is now in force for strong winds in excess of 100MPH for the far South West. Warning is valid from 16:00 this afternoon.

Here are all the Amber and Yellow weather warnings which have been issued from the Met Office for Snow, Rain & Wind for later Thursday and into Friday. Its a messy graphic and isn't particularly clear. There is a lot going on.

The Met Office have now issued an Amber warning for Snow for Thursday evening through to Friday morning. A wider Yellow warning for Snow remains in force.

The Met Office have now issued a Yellow Weather Warning for Snow for Thursday into Friday. There is still uncertainty as to the exact track of the low so the warning area may be adjusted as we get closer to Thursday.

There is a lot of uncertainty regarding an area of low pressure tracking across/ close by to the UK on Thursday into Fiday. The graphic below from the Met Office shows some possible scenarios.

There are currently 11 Met Office Snow & Ice weather warnings in force for today (Sunday) through into Monday.

Met Office Yellow weather warnings for Snow & Ice are in place overnight and into Friday morning.
